Welcome to The 1st ICHBS 2024

The International Conference on Health and Biological Science is an annual event organized by Universitas Harapan Bangsa and part of the International Conference on Community Health series. This conference invites submissions from all fields related to "Biology, Food Science, Life Sciences, and Health". This year, Universitas Harapan Bangsa is proud to host the 1st International Conference on Health and Biological Science (ICHBS 2024), which will take place at the Java Heritage Hotel, Purwokerto, Indonesia on 8-9 October, 2024. Selected papers presented at ICHBS 2024 will be published in the Bio of Web Conference, indexed in the Scopus databases.

Focus and Scope

In today's rapidly evolving world, the convergence of biology, food, and health is paving the way for groundbreaking sustainable innovations. Advances in biotechnology are enabling the development of more efficient and eco-friendly agricultural practices, which not only enhance food production but also reduce environmental impact. By integrating biological insights with cutting-edge food technology, we are seeing the emergence of novel solutions such as lab-grown meats, biofortified crops, and sustainable packaging materials. These innovations not only address global challenges like food security and climate change but also promote better health outcomes by providing nutritionally enhanced and safer food options.
